Girl by Jamaica Kincaid is a story that is written as one long 650 word sentence. Written as a conversation between a mother and daughter, Jamaica in this writing criitically comments about the societal perceptions and the exhausting obligations of how a girl should behave. The zine is a visual translation. inspired by the tone of voice the zine takes the form of a pocket guide and a heavily annotated to-do list. The content of the zine is expanded into a campaign by maintaining the similar visual style but tweaking the language.
